Metos Webshop is an online shop maintained by Metos Oy Ab (business ID: 0108466-4), which sells products to corporate customers and the general government sector in Finland. Unless otherwise specified in these terms of sale, all agreements are governed by the Finnish Sale of Goods Act. Metos Webshop will hereinafter be referred to as "Webshop", Metos Oy Ab as "Metos" and the user of the service as "Customer".
Webshop prices are net prices in euro, VAT 0%, with the exception of the OUTLET store, where prices are inclusive of VAT. All prices are for Ex-Warehouse delivery in Kerava, Finland, transport packaging included. Prices do not include freight, installation and user guidance at customer premises. All shipments are insured for transport damage on behalf of the seller. Due to continuous product development Metos reserves the right to make changes to its products, product information and prices. Metos can unilaterally modify its terms of sale by presenting information about the changes in its Webshop. All orders are governed by the then-current prices and conditions of sale. Regulatory changes shall take effect on the date of entry into force without prior notice.
Webshop provides an estimated delivery time for each product. Stocked goods are usually dispatched on the next business day following the order and delivered to the customer within 2-5 business days. The exact date of delivery from the Kerava warehouse will be conveyed to the customer in the order confirmation.
The customer is asked to specify the preferred means of delivery when placing the order. Otherwise, Metos has the right to arrange for the carriage of the goods to their place of delivery using the most inexpensive means available. Paid products can also be picked up from our OUTLET store, address: Metos Oy Ab, Ahjonkaarre, 04220 Kerava, Finland. Methods of delivery are as follows:

For orders purchased via Webshop and paid before delivery, delivery charges are as follows: If the total non-tax value of the order is less than EUR 100, the delivery charge is EUR 10 (VAT 0%). No delivery charge shall be applied to orders with a value of EUR 100 or more (VAT 0%).
Methods of payment available to an Webshop customer include the following:
Credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Eurocard, American Express)
Direct debit, BIC (Nordea, OP-Pohjola, Danske Bank, Handelsbanken)
Payment by invoice, 14 days net (requires an invoicing agreement with Metos)
If there is a flaw found in the product or the service, Metos must be informed of the matter and allowed to verify and rectify the problem. Depending on the situation, the product may be replaced or repaired, or the matter settled with a price reduction. Metos' liability shall in any case be limited to the purchase price paid by the customer. Metos is not responsible for any direct or indirect costs or loss of income incurred due to the faulty product or service, or the use thereof.
The information provided by the customer will be stored in Metos' customer register. The information is used to manage and maintain the customer relationship. Metos does not share this information with any third party. Privacy policy is available here. Metos E-services uses cookies to improve performance and enhance the user experience. The cookies can be disabled by following the instructions for changing browser settings. Disabling the cookies may prevent some features of the website from working correctly.
By ordering products from the Webshop, the customer agrees to these terms and conditions.
Product information can be accessed through the directory under Products. Alternatively, you can type the name of the product or the group of products in the search field located at the top of the page. Once the right product is found, select it by clicking the "Add to cart" button. After choosing the product, you will be automatically redirected to a page providing an overview of the contents of your shopping cart. Here, you can change the quantity of items ordered or remove the item from the cart by leaving the quantity field blank. To continue shopping, click "Back to products".

After placing the products in the shopping cart, select the "Order" checkbox, and enter the appropriate contact information as well as your preferred shipping method. Press "Send and continue" to choose the preferred means of payment. If paying via credit card and direct debit, you will be automatically redirected to a secure site for payment processing. After payment, you can return to Webshop by clicking "Back to service provider's page".
Once the order has been placed, you will receive an order confirmation showing the exact shipping date. The confirmation will be sent as soon as possible, but no later than the next business day following the order.

The prices are net prices in euro, VAT 0%. We reserve the right to price changes if the currency rates, VAT, manufacturing costs, import duties or other fees or charges outside the supplier's control change before the delivery date. Tenders are calculated on the basis of ECB average rates in effect on the date of the quote. If the change in the exchange rate is more than ±2%, the final price is determined based on the rate on the day of delivery. The condition applies to 75% of the VAT-free price. The interest on delayed payments is the reference rate confirmed under the Interest Act plus an additional interest provided for in the Act. Once the invoice has been sent, any changes to the billing information made by the customer will be subject to a EUR 50 (+ VAT) processing fee.
EXW Kerava. The packaging is included in the price. Possible freight and installation services are charged separately. Orders including equipment, materials and containers are delivered to the customer at the agreed time from our warehouses in Kerava. Stocked goods, marked in yellow in our catalogue, are delivered directly from the Kerava warehouse. Subject to intermediate sale reserve.
All goods remain the property of Metos Oy Ab until the purchase price including interests and expenses is paid in full.
The goods sold by Metos Oy Ab are guaranteed against material and workmanship defects. The warranty period is one (1) year. The warranty only applies to first owners in Finland. The buyer requesting a warranty repair may be asked to prove the validity of the warranty. Repair requests must be presented during the warranty period and without delay either directly to Metos or to an authorised service centre. If possible, fixed and stationary equipment are repaired on site. Easily movable devices are delivered to the service centre by the buyer at their own expense and risk. Fixed appliances are picked up or delivered to the customer at their expense using the chosen mode of transport.
The return of goods is accepted provided that the shipment was not in conformity with the order or the goods were faulty, and the reminder was made within 8 days of the reception of the goods. The return must always be arranged in advance with our representative. Standard goods, which are returned for a reason other than the seller's error, are refunded up to 80%. The right to return does not apply to customised or specialty products.
